Buying at auction really is a simple, fun and friendly way of purchasing a myriad of different things. Ways of buying at Hawleys:

In-Person

Simply register your name address and telephone number with us, receive a buyers number and attend the sale. Enjoy the thrill and theatre of our live auction and give yourself the best possible chance of winning your selections.

Commission Bidding

If you cannot or choose not to attend our sale we can bid for you and make sure you don’t miss out on those must have lots. Tell us your maximum bid and we will act for you procuring the item as cheaply as the competition will allow. We cannot guarantee you being the highest bidder and will not take open ended bids. You will need to supply your name address and telephone number, the lot numbers and your bids. You can do this by filling in an Absentee Bid Form either in the saleroom or from a download by first contacting us via telephone or email before the day of the sale.

Live Online Bidding

You can bid live on our website.

A Buyers premium of 20% + VAT is charged on the hammer price.
